It was an introductory post. These boats are certainly uncommon in the Gulf of Mexico- they’re made for the ocean - which is my destination.
I didn’t join this blog to sell my boat. BUT, with the wonders of modern medicine, that can change in a day.
My health is forcing me to sell. I haven’t listed her yet. I’m quite upset, we were successful treasure divers off this boat- she’s a “Million Dollar Boat”! A full rebuild was in progress.

Thanks and calm seas to All!
This is a fun site!
I have an intermediate bearing which makes alignment a challenge. Boat builder did not put engine jack screw mounts. Also no engine room ventilation! No wonder the 1st engined overheated! Also, in a low tide while rudder was removed, the skeg extension broke off. I replaced with stainless steel which seems to be ok as we hit a pile of rip rap and it’s still there. Finished interior in Louisiana reclaimed barn cypress. Cut windows down, cut off decaying hard top. Planning on alum framed awning
