She tops out around 18 and cruises comfortably at 15. Not a speed machine like some of the New England boats but she is a hell of a sea boat that carries a big load when needed. 150 oak lobster traps at around 100 lbs a piece only drops her about 4-5 inches in the stern. You dont even have to put the scuppers in. Bulk herring she will carry 25,000 lbs easy.
