42 Dixon/H&H vs. 36 Calvin

Does anyone have experience working on both a 36' Calvin Beal and a standard width 42 H&H or 42 Dixon?

I have worked all 3 the cb is not in the race the h&h is a great boat but the chines on the dixson make it eat up a sea but all great sea boats
