42 Wesmac face lift

I'm under going a face lift on my 42 Wesmac. The plan is to remove the tower. Install a new lower profile arch. Add a green stick. Add a KVH antenna. Replace the generator. Lastly have the entire exterior of the boat painted. Should be a busy winter. I'll pass along some pictures as we go. Here are the first few. 1st is the boat years ago as new and now with the tower off. The tower and generator are for sale by the way if anyone is intrested.

The generator is a Northern Lights 5 kw with 2400 hours. I have to do some exhaust work so the generator has to come out so I'm going to drop a new one in at that time. Works like a charm. Never had a problem with it. Asking $4K

Powered by a C18 1000hp Cat. I am interested and seeing what the performance differance will be. Also the tower has been sold, so for all of the inquiries, thanks. The Generator is still available however.

Can you share the current #'s with that engine? I have seen her in person up in harwitch port and he's a sweet boat that's for sure. Good luck with the upgrades.

Top end 27 knots. Cruise at 70 load doing 20-21 knots. Wesmac is betting I gain 1-2 knots after removing the tower.

Where is the stick going and are you going with rab floodzilas

Stick is going to go up against the wheel house and through the roof just forward of the arch. I didn't go with the floodzilas. I spoke to Rab and the negative was they don't like to be turned on for short periods of time. It shortens their life cycle. Also when they are turned off, they have to cool a bit before they can be turned on again. I don't like to run at night with the cockpit lit up. I have better vision running with just running lights. The metal Halides are really meant to be turned on and left on. I opted for two 500 watt hologens and a 12v LED from magnalight. For an LED, it throws a lot of light, over 10,000 lumins with low draw. Total will be over 30,000 lumins. I just got the LED light, very commercial. It was expensive. Hopefully it lives up to its hype.

If the sticks in front of the arch how are you going to lay it down to fix the lines ex
