Looked like a good deal for anyone repowering a small boat. It is better than spending 8000$ for one of these new!

I have no connection to this person. I just like flipping thru the classifieds.

If I saw this before I sold my 19 seaway I would have seriously considered it!

No where close to enough power for your 19 Seaway unless you were going to run @ WOT 24/7...I saw a 19 Seaway in Quincy Shipyard other day that had a 115 ETEC on her.

Mine had a 60 evinrude 2 stroke that I ran full throttle only. With 2 guys 23 knots was her full steam speed. That 115 must be a screamer! The 50 4 stroke is probably a little small, I agree. The 19 seaway was rated for a 90 max. With the 115 it must be ass heavy at the dock. I loved that boat. Anyone selling a fixer upper?

With all due respect- a 115? really? I run an 18 pointer on a 50- more than enough power for that boat and way more fuel effecient.

I agree I see a lot of boats in the harbor running way bigger engines than needed. Theres a guy running a 21 roth bilt which is a pretty center console and he has 2 130 yamahas on it . Every time i see it all i think about is the salesman that sold it still laughing. That said I had an old 18 eastern and i ran an old nissan 60 on it and it went like hell.

I think bosboatman had a vee bottom seaway. Mine was pointer style. I have seen some 19 Seaway bee bottoms that would require a larger outboard.

It's a 17 Leblanc with an 8'2" beam.

I was actually going to post some pictures of the hull and the expected weights of all the parts that are going into her and see how you guys think I should rig her...I have my opinion but of course more than willing to hear what you guys gotta say!
