6bta 270 no load rpm?

Can anyone tell me what a Cummins 6 bta no load rpm should rev. up to.

That engine is rated at 260/270 hp (different rating protocols) at 2,600 rpm. Most governors will let the engine rev to about 10% more with no load.

So about 2,850 +/-.
