Glad to see you included this forum in your 35 Duffy restoration !!
How is all going.
I just looked over all the posts and pics from noreast.com.

The last couple of posts were of the engine going in the boat.

Where are you on the repower?

Did you get that Cummins back together and all spruced up ???

6CTA 450 ??????? Did you run the SN# on it ??

Engine is almost done, just have to wait for a gearbox.Have been trying to get the hull done.Tired of grunt work.Still having a hard time with my windows though.Should I check the SN#s?The engine isnt stolen....

No, wasn't concerned about theft.
If you "run" the sn# (data tag) you can find CPL, year built, manuf plant, etc.
If you post it, I can run it for you or I'm sure someone else here could.

No biggee!!!

Looks good.
While you're in Boston stop in at any welfare office, show them your empty wallet and they may give you a few EBT cards (just make like you can't speak english and you should be good) and you can use the card for some new goodies for the boat

Lay them out and fasten them from the bottom up into the rail, won't have to bother with bung material or exposed fasteners topside. A machine screw will self tap into the pvc with no problem if you're so inclined to use them. #14 self tappers work nicely as well, just toss a finish washer on them.

Hooray for square drive fasteners!
