Deckhand
Hello everyone,
let me introduce myself. My name is Matteo, and Im 30 years old. I leave in Genova, Italy but I come from Bordighera, a nice city on the cost, close to France.
(bordighera)
(the harbour of Bordighera)
I discovered your forum after I felt in love with downeast boats watching Wicked Tuna (Yes, is brodcast also in Italy). I started searching for the boats of the show and and I found this place.
In my free time I like to fish . Usually I fish with a longline made by 25-30 hooks rigged with live baits (In Italy longlines can be used by a sport fisherman with the limit of 200 hooks).
(my last catch! I'm the one on the right)
I go fishing when I go back to Bordighera to visit my family or for holiday (As I told you, its a nice place close to the French riviera).
I use my cousins boat for fishing, Its a little semi displacement hull powered by a Yanmar 75 hp. Its cruise at 13-14 knt and tops out at 21 knt (WOT).
Here a pictures of the kind boat that I use:
For the future I would like to buy a boat and the downeaster way seams interesting to me.
Regards,
(sorry for possible mistakes!)
