16-foot wooden lapstrake classic Lowell-built Amesbury skiff; engine, custom cover and trailer.
Built in 2003
highly finished with mahogany interior seating and platform; floatation under seating
impressive boat; gets a lot of comments
stable platform for recreation in inshore waters, lakes and rivers
engine hours minimal and are estimated
25 h.p. Johnson 2-stroke engine, that is a little newer than the boat (is the boat's second engine).
New battery for electric start; fuel tanks; fenders; docking lines; anchor and rode; engine-tiller steering, with removable tiller extension.
May be seen in Gloucester.

That's a head scratcher,gonna be plenty of boats on the market this spring with all the covid boaters getting their marina bills soon .

Can you give any updates on recent work- paint- varnish- engine work?
Trailer condition- road ready, lights ect

Vamoose:

Light use since built. Last in the water a couple of years ago; topsides sanded and repainted; boot-top repainted; bottom painted, about that time.
Stored in a garage in Winter.
Trailer bought with the boat, also light use. Trailered every season about a half mile to the marina and back in the Fall. Sat on a mooring with the cover on most of the time.
A cavass cover kept the bright work from sun damage.
Engine a couple of years newer than the boat; was bought for the boat and always has been with the boat; so, light use there, also. All work on engine by Andrew at Gloucester Marina.

As you can see in the photos, the boat looks close to new.

Hardwood bows keep a "crown" in the cover.

She is good with upkeep on the boat. Very hands-on; a retired professional house painter.

The Amesbury skiff is out of the garage, the engine has been run; she's sitting on the trailer, with the cover on that you see in the above photos.
