Thought I should make this post as I initially jumped in with a question and hopes of learning about downeast boats, without "manners". My wife and I live in Ocean County, NJ, boat/fish out of Barnegat Inlet, when possible, in a 23' Parker DVCC. We are very happy with the performance and economy of the boat, but, I find myself wanting to go a little further in more comfort, with a bit more protection. Also find we would like a boat that would allow for day cruising in relative comfort. We are both in our 60s, empty nesters, and very new to boating. Don't know what else to add, but, already have found this forum full of useful information. Thanks to all.
