nice boat, but WAY too much teak. had a blackfin with a teak cockpit. lots of maintenance to keep it nice...

My main gripe besides maintenance is that well oiled teak can get slippery when taking on a good spray or backing down hard on a fish. Give me a non skid painted deck anyday.

I love teak on hot days, trick is to keep it wet. You get very little reflection off the wet dark wood and it cools off the cockpit as it evaporates.
I've had to do a lot of varnish work on boats with teak decks.
Wearing only socks to keep the boat clean for the final coat, I've had blisters on the bottom of my feet on a hot summer day.

Give me light awlgrip or gelcoat

For me it's the hatch going up the bridge a guy at my club has this hull you will hit the back it going up and coming down

Why didn't they just leave it open is beyond me
