The guy that plows the town roads had to go get the V plow of his front lawn and put it on his truck to get thru the drifts on the road down along the shore that leads down to the island where the harbor is.Its hard to say how much snow as the wind has been a steady 35 or so.I would have to guess at over 2 feet, close to 3 here on the coast, still snowing hard.
Big Trees, Small margin of error. Had a large tree miss my house once that close. Heard it drop in the night, and looked at it in the morning. About 3 feet between disaster and firewood for next season.
I hope you were not one of the "non essential" vehicles on the road @ 12:26 taking pictures of the plow convoy on 495
Here is a "non essential" vehicle on my neck of 495 @ rt 95.
He thought he would try to smash through the massive windrow on 95 from an on ramp just left by the convoy of 10 wheelers with 11+ ft highway plows & wing plows that just went by.
One of my 1tons plows the ramps that stretch of road.
We had to plow enough around him and pull him out with one of the trucks.
