28 Albemarle Best 14 K Please someone buy this as you will love it. - The Hull Truth - Boating and Fishing Forum
Seven people on that thing might be kinda tight for anything but a half day trip.
Talk to Old Mud.
He is the master at turning old sea rays into downeasters.
Time for a post on that girl.
Yeah, I know there are only six pax... Still a small boat. Park it beside that 31 BHM and have a look. Just sayin.
I know i hear ya, i was looking at plowin 31BHM and i like it alot but i don't know about the 14-16 kt cruise, it scares me. I have to make a 50 mile round trip every day in the summer and going from 23kts to 16kts doesn't really work for me and my customers. I'm tryin to find a BHM that has a 18 or 19 kt cruise. Also heard from anothere lobsterman that has been around a while and he says the BHM is a little rolly. Any sugg would be appr. Thanks
A Duffy would suit you better.A 31 Bhm is not the boat if your looking to go fast and economical. A friend of mine has one with a 450 and it's an 18knot boat burning a lot of fuel.
The BHM will get old making a 50 mile run everyday, I have been doing it for 15 years. As far as being rolly I wouldnt be so certain of that. Perhaps compared to some others it is but which ones? Lets be fair and keep the others in the 31'9" range though.
