Trying to go to Rockaway in the morning to help a friend who lost everything but im low on gas....Just went out to refill everything and everyone was tapped out....Hopefully the morning will be different....So sad what happened to those people

Dont come without gas. Its like mad max. People are getting crazy without gas and cash. Im on LI helpng my friend. Wow is all I have to say.

All is well & I am back in the game. We had no power and internet until yesterday.

I hauled for the storm and dodged a bullet. The boat was on high ground and never floated off. My Marina, Al Grover’s did a wonderful job. Even though so may boat were off blocks and it looked like total devastation it was amazing how little damage there was to the boats. The yard was well fenced and all boats were contained with there plugs in. It is day four after the storm and the marina is back in business with all boat back on their blocks. It was amazing to watch the yard men work. Each boat was handled like a new born.

I wasn't as lucky as Larry and didn't get high enough for the surge. I would up between a building and a fence. I don't have a complete assessment yet but so far I haven't found anything that can't be fixed.

Just got power back at home on saturday night. I'm waiting to get the boat up on stands again for a full review. The boats blocking the roads and in houses are ahead of me...
