Do we still do outboards?

28' LOA
9.5' Beam
12" Draft (with outboard up)


Throw a full cabin on that thing and let see how she looks. with brackets for that out board give a little slope to the back of the cabin
Would that still be consider a downeast and would the seakeeping ability be as good as with the full keel?

I probably wouldn't go 100 miles off shore in it... but that's just me, it's an outboard after all

A full cabin he says... ok

twin 150s or so on a bracket 300 gallon fuel tank and a small genset in her belly along with fish box the size of a small car :twisted: That will get some weight low

That would only need one outboard on it,two would be over kill very easy planing hull.
I would really like to see one with the same lines but with more v towards
the stearn,make it ride even better.
