So I am trying to see what everyone thinks the aver girth of a 85 in tuna is. My guess was about 60 inches. Anyone have an info on lenth and girth. I am trying to decide if building a fish hold is worth it since I do not have much beam to work with in the area I am consdiering inatalling it. I think an 85 inch fish is a lage as I am going to fit.

Go for it it you have a 90 inch fish with head off and two foot buy two foot you'll be good I'd rather see 30x30 but go for it

I think if you could measure the coffins they ship them over in you may be surprised how narrow you can get away with. Mine was about 4 inches wider than a fish tote long ways, was only restricted by length, never width. Fish up to 680 dressed fit in no problem, bigger than that they were too long. That, my friend, is a good problem to have..
