Hello every one my name is mike I am
Thinking of looking at a 28 bhm up
In southwest harbor maine. The boat has cummins. 220hp in it. 300 hrs. On engine. How. Are these boats. In a. Head sea do they pound at all. How are they. On a drift. What kind of speed can you get with 220 hp I believe the boat is a 93. Not sure what year engine Any input. Would be great thanks mike

Mike we had an 88 28ft BHM with a 250 cummins. The boat never pounded and will always get you home. I think with a motor that size, you will cruise 12kts to low teens.

I had one with a 315 yanmar.. Cruise 17-18.5 comfortably. I Loved mine. I think with the cummins it should get a 14kt cruise.
