Black friday

I hope non of you guys were out there yesterday "shopping".

What has this country become.

First pig out and eat, then sleep out infront of Walmart to get crap you really don't need and possibly end up in a stampede or pepper sprayed???

Did Clark Island have a black Friday sale? That is about the only place I would sleep out in front of for a deal. 35 Duffy please.

We were amongst the Dumbasses out on thanksgiving night. Fortunately we live in" White bread and Velveeta land" so everyone at our Walmart was calm, cheerful and polite... mostly. Walmart gave out numbered tickets for the items on special instead of having a stampede. Wife wanted to score an Xbox 360 for the Zumba Class she has on Saturday mornings at our house. She saved $100 plus got a $50 gift card. We were there about 2 hours.

You are so right....This shit is getting out of hand.....watch...a few years down the road and we wont even have Thanksgiving anymore...all these idiots care about is shopping

Funny. Heard on the radio about people who take the day off and what they save, then comparing the cost of the two and how far behind that one day makes you.

I feel the same way for this weekend. Wasted my time trying to repair a acr-75 spotlight should have just spent the $230 on a new one. Flawed design with the vertical motor gear exposed! Ha. Talk about a waste of time.

The holidays are nothing but stress !
You buy a gift for a friend or a relative, they buy one for you.
I say just call it even and don't buy anything at all !
Years ago I used to get stressed out about shopping/spending $.
For many years now I have NO stress at all !
I shop for NO ONE accept my 3 kids and my wife does all that, even my wife, I tell her to shop for herself !
When I was a kid Christmas was about kids, family & religion.
Now it's all about retail stores and them making the biggest % of their sales for the year.
I do enjoy some christmas music though, but lots of radio stations start playing nothing but christmas music 24/7 the day after thanksgiving is insane !
Anyone who camps out all night starting the day before just to be the 1st in line for when a store opens being for christmas shopping or the latest iphone 5 or whatever new product is coming out, is a friggin idiot !!!

This year we stayed home. Getting ready to sell the house and move south next spring, I don't need more useless shit to move.

That Xbox 360 we stood inline for 2 hours last year? My wife has used it once

You screwed up! I was at Clark Island this year and they were giving out 42's!! Maybe next year for you but thanks for the tip.
