Boat survey costs where you are?

Just paid $18/foot for a survey in Maine plus (I think) $60/hour for sea trial time.

How about where you live? Think in CT I have heard $30/foot numbers around here (Fairfield County CT)

Recently paid 300.00 for a survey on my 40' gillnetter with the boat up in the yard. I got the impression that the cost was the same regardless of the length (Kenai Alaska)

Depends on who's doing the survey. Credentialed surveyors are worth more than amateurs. $20-25/foot here in bankrupt Detroit area

$18.00 per foot is standard or 1250.00 per hour plus the time it takes to write the report
