bonding fuel tanks

I just had 2 Diesel tanks installed do they need to be bonded to to boats copper strip I have two green bonding wires here different theories on this also the fills are grounded and these tanks are up higher then old tanks ?

Absolutely. I would say #8 wire(not possitive on the size). There should be a tab on the tank for bonding. Make sure you do a good quality crimp & heat shrink the connections. Electrolysis will eat through those tanks in no time.

bonding

the tab on top are being used for ground wire (black) I have a green wire from old tanks attached to copper strip I'm going to drill a hole in bracket and put green wire to that that should bond tanks thanks
