There is a large lot just a couple minute walk up from the stone wharves. To the west. You will see it. There is signage. Harbormaster and assistants very helpful and right on pier. If you launch in Mattapoisett or Fairhaven you should be doing yourself a favor. (Hoppy’s Ramp in Fairhaven is excellent too, and closer to the good seabass bite). Last few years best bite has been mid bay, south of Cleveland’s. The humps between there and West Island have been good. Whatever you do, stay away from Tempest Knob Ramp in Wareham. Place is tight for parking and gets crazy. Taylor’s Point is a crap shoot. Gets a little silly there too... Last season the upper Bay was not worth it, if you like catching nice beautiful knotheads. Make sure you move, and when you mark fish up off bottom, stop and drop your jig. It is not a fish in barrel game for the big guys like 4-7 years ago anymore. Plenty of fish still, and if you know what your doing you can limit on 17-18”+ males, but not as easy as before. They used to be all over the bay!Is there any trailer parking at the Mattapoisett town ramp? Looking at aerial photo's it doesn't seem like it.
