Has anyone ever heard of a Camden 22? I bought this boat last spring and I really love it. I was told that the hull is a seaway 21 with a platform holding a Honda 90. Not many built. Full pilot house, head w/ holding tank, v-berth forward, chart plotter, etc. Am having hull awlgripped and bottom redone now. Plan on mounting radar and spotlight this coming spring. Very good in a chop but some people would consider it a bit underpowered. That does not other me as I can cruise at 15 knots, no sweat. Any info on design or building of these boats would be appreciated.

Thanks. I thought that I would put a little money into it and, if I pick my days, do a little cruising along the Mid-coast. I would still be way ahead of the money their getting for Easterns and Seaways around here. I do a good bit of sailing too, but could never get my wife to go along. She loves this because that little house is nice and warm.

Unfortunatly, no inside pics. It is pretty basic with a v-berth forward and two seats running lengthwise inside the house. This took a bit getting used to as there is no seat directly behind the helm mounted in the center of the house. So you have the choice of standing at the helm, which is fine by me, or sitting on a cushioned seat off to the side a bit. The nice thing is the protection from the weather that the house provides. We had a center console lake style boat and you freeze your ass off up here in Maine on most days except in the middle of the summer.

Wow, beautiful boat. Exactly what I've been looking for, a pocket DE in the 22 to 25 range, with a full pilothouse. Need that kind of hull for the chop in the Sound down here, and the pilothouse for when I'll be able to use the boat: One Day a week during the season, and maybe a long trip or two come October or November. Weather be damned, I'll be going out when I get that chance, and you got a proper rig for just that. I see a DRS25A on that tapered mount..

Honestly, a beauty.

Yeah - I did OK on it. I can put a bit of $ into it and have what I want come spring. Comes out of the paint shop on Friday and I'll post some pics.
