This is just an example but in my debate to repower what kind of process would it be cost etc to take an io and use it as an inboard? I only ask because as I mull over the idea of new vs used carb vs fuel injected there are so many used io's out there vs inboards that are hard to come by.

I think it would work fine, maybe just need a adapter or something to bolt up to your bell housing.

I believe it would be bell housing, probably a larger fly wheel and maybe a raw water pump. But in a way i'm just assuming also would i be able to take the bell housing and fly wheel off my current 5.7? and how would i find out?
