Need to purchase a chip or card for the following machines. Furuno 1724c/1734c gd-1720c navnet VX2 navionics gold. Northstar 952 gps. These are my brothers machines down in Grand Cayman, ergo looking for local maps. Thanks......Will

That Northstar takes the Navionics Classic, which has some very limited coverage areas and the prices have skyrocketed. For the Furuno, make sure that they are all Navnet VX2, as there is a difference in card format between VX1 and 2. PM with a confirmation - serial numbers would work, although just looking at the front of the chart reader cover, if it doesn't say VX2, then it is original NavNet. Also, try to be as specific as possible on the areas he will be fishing in, as the Classic charts don't exactly cover the whole Caribbean. Thanks.

Norhtstar is 952xW, Furuno serial # is 8837-3572 and the radar is 4327-3584. hope this helps Thanks

Like I said in the PM, sorry I couldn't have helped you further. Someone must have listened to the machine early AM and wiped it without writing it down. I'd certainly be willing to travel to the Cayman's to 'install' the chart chips!
