Chris Craft Engine Problem

Newly acquired 1955 Chris Craft runabout with flathead four Economy A gas engine . Often stops running after 5 - 15 minutes running at high speed . Suspect fuel supply problem . Any body know how to get a new replacement for the AC Fuel Pump or what Part Number ? I don't have any manuals .

Thanks, Harpoon . The site you suggested focuses on pre 1940's engines, and has no content for the 1955 Chris Craft 4 cylinder flathead gas engine . Appreciate the reference nonetheless.
Anybody else got any ideas ?

Try Irwin Marine in Laconia, NH 603-524-6661. They were the oldest CC dealer and used to stock parts for all the CC engines when I worked there...not sure they still have the parts but I bet they can cross reference the fuel pump number...Good Luck.
