Guys...You'll notice that pipe near the port-a-pottie. That will not be there in the new builds. I guess the guys up in Milbridge mess that up a tad on the 1st pass. Also in our build the access door to the bulkhead will be centered not on the port side. We also have to have Jeff's Marine level-off (fiberglass) the bulkhead/helm area. If you notice...it's on an angle. I need that level for placement of the GPS, gauges, 12-Volt panels etc.

Ditto on the swing back seat. That looks like a nice upgrade for my boat!

dittox2 on the seat. I too would love a diesel. 100Hp is all you would need.

I know nothing about diesels (except my trusty VW Jetta TDI) but with a 115HP OB it needs a 150HP no question. I found she struggled a little with 3 people & no tackle with that Yamaha 115. She topped out @ 24 knots with calm seas.

So what is the price of the boat/trailer AND 150 hp yami/honda

Bill: Well...I am not "exactly" sure @ this point. The explain further, we are not even sure the Jim Beal wants to make the CB 23' @ this point. My boat should have gone into the mold @ the beginning of this month. As of today it has not & Jim Beal doesn't follow-up on any calls, e-mails that Jeff & Chis (Jeff's Marine) have sent.

I told the guys @ Jeff's that if Jim Beal isn't interested in making the boat, please have the common respect & let me know. I sold my Eastern 24' last week to a friend of mine, so I have no boat @ this point.

I called Roger St. Cyr @ Eastern Boats & I'm thinking about a brand new Eastern Lobsterman 27' Only thing with that is it will cost me appx. 95K after everything is done (Honda BF225, Trailer, installed elctronics & a few upgrades) Only thing I do not like about the Eastern 27' is it's only a 8'4" beam.

So....I thought the CB 23' would cost me around 65K-68K with everything. I really want the CB 23' but I need an answer by the middle of next week or I'm going to give Eastern by business. This is the problem with small boat manufacturers, sometimes they simply are not as dependable as a larger company.

The 23 CB, as pictured with say 150 Yami or Honda OB and a roller trailer..
What do you figure the total $price tag$ ?

They quoted me 52K with that Yamaha 115 on back (no trailer) So...Add another 4K+ for a 150HP & another 4K for a trailer. The demo is still available @ Jeff's last I heard. It might be the only one ever built.

Have you ever spoken to Jim? He is an 'old school' kind of guy and I don't see him relying on e-mail or screwing someone either. If it were me, I'd ask Jeff's for a copy of the work/purchase order and then make a couple of calls to Milbridge myself. I see the move to an Eastern as quite a step downward.
