Do any of yall have a copy of the 6th edition of the Cruising guide you'd be willing to part with? This summer we'll be bringing our Sisu down from just West of Jonesport and are trying to get as much homework and planning done as we can while it's still icky outside! Hope everyone is inside and warm!

Have you tried the book a visual cruising guide to the Maine coast? Or the waterway’s guide? Lots of info in them, we have both. Both have visual aids and gps coordinates to save harbors with fuel, food, activities and Anchorage. These and a good chart plotter and prudent weather planning and you’ll be fine. We also use Navionics on an iPad for planning a route away from the boat and as back up system. Don’t be afraid to ask and to take notes from local knowledge too. enjoy the journey

add: i’m pretty sure I picked both of these books up at Hamiltons Marine

There is the

Maptech Embassy Cruising Guide: New England Coast - 15th Edition

It is good on harbors and navigation. It won’t tell you the hidden gem anchorages. Active Captain is good for that.
