not typically done on mechanical engines except for Detroits. Seaboard's website would be where I would start....seems like a lot of work for 15 ponies?

6BTA's difficult to increase hp after leaving the factory.
In my opinion you'd gain absolutely nothing but spending $$ and a lot of work .

I could never understand one from the other.
Same motor really
Same with the 6BT's 210 or 220
10-15 hp can get eaten up with an extra heavy guy on board, either engine wouldnt notice the difference

Same engine, 315 is BHP and 330 is MHP (metric). The next rating up was 355 BHP and 370 MHP.

I won't comment on the technical side, no direct experience with the uprated engine. Head over to SBMAR and do some searching, usually not a good value proposition to uprate from what I have read.

As I understand it the 210/220 is the same engine. Just as ScottH mentioned the 220 is metric horsepower. I just learned this a month or so ago going over spec sheets on the 210
