Both of those boats, with they power they have, probably won’t give you a true idea of what most DE boats are like in that size range. Both will immediately spoil you.

no issue is keeping the 480 corked at 16-18 knots

UPDATE - 8/3/2023 - Sold. Gone to Portland, ME. UPDATE 6/9/2022 - Boat has been hauled, sea trialed and surveyed. Engine threw an alarm during sea trial (first time I've seen an alarm in my 3 yrs of ownership). Turned out to be a dirty fuel filter (I should have changed them during my oil...

If you are looking for size check out the Harris Cuttyhunk 28. It's the biggest 28 ft boat I've ever seen. Here's one for sale, though the asking price is quite steep in my opinion.
