Diesel Fuel

My marina has the "Valvtech" diesel fuel. Did some research and the website for Valvtech claims that it has all of the biocide needed and that it already has all of the stabilizer and such. Basically it says "no additional fuel additive needed".

This is my first diesel so wondering what the general opinion of the Valvtech is and whether or not folks still add additives despite the claims? I would normally air on the side of caution and add my own but if I don't need to spend the extra $$...I won't.

Valvtech is added after the fuel is delivered to marina or boat yard. I run through alot of fuel each year and only put in additives when the boat will be sitting for an extended period of time

Sulfer used to be a pretty regular component of diesel fuel. now as sulfer is getting lower and lower, we have to make sure the lubricating agents that sulfer provided are still there. I always put an additive in my diesel.
