Got it for free and have a little engine in the garage that will fit her good. Also have a trolling motor for when fishing freshwater in the summer. Sanded all of the boat today, welding over a small hole in the bottom whenever my cousin gets home with the welder then painting. Mainly will be used to get to the spot rather than hunting out of it due to size. Will be much easier to rip up river to spots rather than walk. It will stay in the marsh right out front.

I might just patch that over (truss head bolts if you aren't setup for those airplane rivets, a patch of aluminum, 5200 to seal it good), see how it goes when you try to weld it. Hopefully it just goes good & problem solved.
