I just ordered three, they required a deposit of $250. on each, I think the total cost is $350. I don't recall when they'll ship since I don't need them for a few months.

It is a downpayment of 250 with a total cost of 349. I had one in my cart and then backed out, just couldn't justify a 350 dollar light at the moment. They are awesome products, and a great price for the new sport series.

many years ago I sailed with a couple of chief engineers in the LNG trade out in Japan; don't remember their last names any more. the younger guy was Lance and I recall that he harvested sea urchins and that he was designing a system to use an eductor to suck those babies off the bottom.

Just bought a light this morning from “strobes n more” that claims 15k lumens for $100 on sale. Curious to see how it matches up to the durabrite. Even came with a 2 year warranty

I tried to find it again on the website and they said it’s no longer available. Maybe I really did buy the last one like the website said I thought that was just a sales ploy

I'm probably going to be buying 3 of them for my boat, I saw Mike from durabrite at a tackle show and he had these on display. They looked almost the same as the mini's for a third the price and even just as blinding.

I got a pretty good deal on one of the minis last year, and don’t do a lot of night stuff, so I won’t be getting any more.

But, it’s a pretty good deal. Never saw a pre sale pricing structure like that though. Kind of smart, drives everyone toward the higher down payment/lower overall cost, so the buyer benefits, but the seller also increases cash flow to significantly help finance the first production run, and increases the quantity to help achieve efficiency with bulk buying/manufacturing components.
