Hi guys. I stumbled on an 82 Eastern 18 up in ME a couple of months ago. My ski boat sucks when Champlain gets choppy so I was hunting for a small DE for the family and I to go cruise around in.
-Repowered with a 2002 Yamaha 60
-refinished the wood seating up front
-Added some short fishing seats for the kiddos forward of the console
-New fuel lines & separator
-Scraped, stripped, compounded and polished everything I could reach of the hull.
-Added stripe.
I have a couple of things left to do but she handles Champlain like a dream. I'm definitely a convert to downeast boats.
