Guys,

I wanted to give some feedback on Chris "Wharf Rat" and him firm. Chris has been nothing short of awesome regarding his knowlegde of products, responsiveness to questions, quick quotes, materials delivery and not to mention pricing. We have talked a bunch of times and its very easy to tell that chris is very passionate about what he does and is extremely
knowledgeable. He was very willing to just sell me what I need at the time which is perfect for my situatiopn as I am in the middle of a build and do not need all the parts and pieces at once. I bought a couple transducers and the SIMRAD BSM-2 so far and am close to pulling the trigger on an auto pilot system too.

Thanks Chirs for all your help thus far and moving forward.

The kid is unreal. I think it's the youth factor. I've been dealing with a guy ready to retire, not on the cutting edge anymore. Same with my computer people at my business. Just made a change to a much younger company and it's a world of difference. And the kid is a stud with the ladys!!!! lol

Hey Seth,

Thanks for the really kind words, dealing with you and everyone else on this forum has been awesome. We're all on here because of how passionate we are about the water and downeast design, and it's contagious. This forum is unique in that it attracts knowledgeable boaters and it's refreshing to be able to learn from all the combines years of experience everyone here brings to the table. To be able to reciprocate the things I've learned here by providing some insight into marine electronics is the least I can do. I do love electronics, and I'm lucky to love what I do for a living, but to be able to work with people who I can learn from is a real luxury. I'm really just looking forward to completion of the build, Seth, it's going to be a beast.

Thanks again, and also thanks Rich for the seconding post; I'm just doing what I can to contribute to the crew the only way I know how. And yes Rich, until I have my own fiberglass money pit to call my own, I'll have to settle for posting pics of 'Wharf Rat's Slut of The Week.'

That's spot on, CME! ;-)

Thanks for keeping me semi-anonymous. As 'Wharf Rat' I'm like an electronics problem solving superhero to the masses. As Chris 'L', I'm just a short scrawny kid with glasses who got beat up a lot in middle school. Although Chris L did manage to win a few, but went through many pairs of fist-shattered glasses en route to becoming Whart Rat.

Will you be in Warwick for TZT Training in January?
