Seems like every Sunday afternoon I motor in from the ocean "Emme" is behind the Blackfin in line or leading the way in.

here's a few pics from Sunday

I will say the lines of the 38 NB are very pleasing to the eye.:D

Interesting "slide up and out" transom door.

I'd be afraid of losing the dam thing "overboard"

piece of rope spliced through the handle of the stern door would take care of the loss problem:?:

Tuff Crowd!

Ok Guys, I get it! No more Grady comp's! Well one thing we do need to change on Emme is the tinted front windows, WOW, running out at 3:30AM is a challenge in the river!

Oh come on, tinted windows aren't THAT bad
That's what radar is for :)

Wynn Enterprises might still have her measurements on file. Try giving them a call. Phone: 256/383-5040

Using radar getting in and out of Newburyport harbor and in and out of the mouth of the Merrimack River @ speed would be the equivalent of driving through Boston staring @ you dash mounted gps instead of the road and traffic.

Tinted windows in the dark...no good around here. :D

Originally there was an opening window (70/30 to be exact) that was replaced with the solid one. If you want it I'm pretty sure I can place my hands on it. It's tinted as well though.

But it does open and with that spot light things should be golden.

Not like you can see much with clear windows at night anyway. Especially with any light from electronics etc in the wheel house. Add some spray on the glass and its even worse.

Sounds like you need a swing up helm window Bill
