Whats your Favorite Downeast boat manufacturer in the 33-38 ft range and why. Maybee someone can answere this question for me as well. There is a boat docked at cape ann marina in Gloucester Mass called the Elizabeth Ann. I saw her when she was brand new about ten years ago, she was love at first sight. Im sure someone here knows the boat. Who built this beauty of a boat?

The Elizabeth Ann i think is a 38 young brothers...my favorite in that size would be the Wayne Beal 36

I love the look of a 35' Duffy (tumblehome and seaworthiness), and the 38' Northern Bay (classic style and performance numbers).

Elizabeth Ann is a 38 Young Brothers. I have fished on it a few times, very nice boat.

Duffy 37 for tuna/cruise & Calvin Beal 38' for lobster. I agree with Tuna Hotline, fuel & lines, build down & chine for the Duffy. Calvin Beal is just has a monster 38 and will hold a lot of traps.

Honestly, the Lowell is a bit of a daydream at this point... Still have a young family and lots of financial obligations! But someday...
