Anyone know of the spot called "The Airport" on the South Side of Fisher's Island? Looking for a little help in case anyone wants to share.

The airport is on the west end of the island if that helps.

I have no idea where the Spot called the Airport is, but I have fished out on that point behind the real airport many times and it has been productive. you need a turck to get out there. There is an old sunken boat out there that I usually fish around if I am out there on a boat. If you are out there ask around the hardware store or ask the locals at the Pequot.

NE of the red nun inshore outgoing tide watch your bottom machine closely. Eels at night . I'm assuming you are in a boat. ask someone where the aiport is and follow the dirt road to the point.
