- Flowers Boat Works 46 hull #1, Flowers Boat Works 36 hull #1, Wayne Beal 28 Hull #1, Repco 30 1968,
So who is going to get the first one?
Sounds to me that there has been a bunch of interest in the Flowers 38 and 36 but also a larger version of this design. I guess the guys in the shop are interested in changing things up a bit and doing something different other than the 33's, 6's and 8's. When I asked Ken about a 40 he told me that a 43 is not out of the question but it would not only be longer but also wider than the other models. Keeping it close to the 3:1 length to beam ratio but closer to 2.8:1. So 43' x 15' 3". Sounds like a nice package for slicing through the rough ocean waters going out to the tuna grounds and still keeping it efficient.
I would be the first one again but have a boat to sell, so someone else has to step up to the plate this time. I can't wait to see the first hull.
