There all glassed. Once we reinforce the transom we'll bolt the tank flanges through the stringers then fasten the prefit glassed plywood deck over it and glass it into place.

Well we got the fuel tank today, epoxy coated aluminum 60 gallon

Fits like a glove. He did a nice job on the tank. Will the stringer get notched for the fuel fill? Where will the fill go?

Were going to drill a hole through the stringer so it can fill from the rail. the plywood was cut to fit last week and we glassed both sides to keep it from warping until the tank showed up.

We should have the fuel tank for the 23' tomorrow if the weather isn't to bad. Here's the picture of the 25'

The fuel tank is bolted in, the fill and vent hoses are attached to the tank...way to hard to get to once the deck is in.

I'm curious why you added the knees on the transom. I see the notch out, so it doesn't look like a bracket will be added.

I'm selling this as a kit and I believe they have a 150hp to bolt on. The transom is rugged but it's easier to over build it now than repair it later, once the knee's are all fastened and glassed into the bottom, stringers, and transom then glassed again into the deck...she'll stay.

Is the hole in the deck a standard size for a deck hatch?
Does the fuel fill hose get closed in?

The hole in the deck was cut for a Bomar 10x12, I'll have to call you on the other two I've got a question on each.

Do you ever use a fully composite deck instead of the glassed sheets of plywood?

We always use composites, I haven't used plywood for years, It's only to keep the cost down in this boat.

I sell sheets of glass epoxy any thickness up to 4" . If you are interested, let me know what thickness, I will shoot you a price. Lead time is usually 8-10 weeks.

I wouldn't be able to use your panels because I don't believe my polyester resin I work with will bond to your epoxy
