FNM marine diesels ?? anybody know anything about them ??

I've got a dealer for these diesels close to me, a couple of charter guys seem to think these are great engines but they are a small, high rpm very lightweight engine so they just seem like they won't have a very long life to them. Anybody know of any in boats back east ?? Just seeing that they are based on a fiat block already worries me !!
