talked to wayne the other day.. the cabinet maker who built the 35 duffy..he said he and did this on his boat and this 50? duffy was just done in the hingham shipyard using this plywood..they get this prelaminated plywood from new england plywood and use the laminated side as the under side instead of coating it with resin.. maybe some of you guys have already used this method.. not sure, but thought it was cool

I believe it is called whiteboard and Maine Coast Lumber carries it. Quite a bit of my interior is built with it. Today I picked up my 3/4 " Coosa board for my decks.

On the Coosa board, no, you can just put them up flsuh to each other and glass over. The good thing is no water obsorbtion so I was told by Stew of SW boatworks to resin the bottom and just gelcoat. Top side will be a layer of mat, followed by layer of 1808 and another layer of mat. It seems like a good product and we will see how easy it goes down in a couple of weeks
