Can you tell me the height from the deck floor to the top of the gunnel at the lowest point? Thanks.

Red: I measured from directly behind the posts end of pilothouse roof. They are 18" from floor to top of the gunnels.

Guys...Thanks you for the nice words! I have kept this boat in outstanding shape since we bought her new. Once I have Enos Marine (Gloucester Honda dealer) do the OB Spring maintenance & have her bottom painted, she'll be ready for the summer. Just turn the key & enjoy the seas!

Just got back from Key West & had some work done on my Eastern 24' while we were away.

I paid $1,112.29 for the following:

1: Spring Start-Up: Honda BF150, Plugs, Oil Change, Fuel Filters, Zinc/Anodes. Checked all electronics, lights, steering, bilge pump & temps.

2: Had the entire bottom painted. Not just the sides.

3: Had the stern boxes re-chalked. I had just a tiny amount of water getting into one of the boxes. So...I decided to have both done.

4: Needed to have my prop re-conditioned. Rubber Spline re-done & painted.

5: Spent almost $500.00 on new new hub/disc repalcements on the 2005 Tidewater Trailer.

She is in "turn-key" operation. Ready to go! I'm posting a few new pics. Please let me know if you need more.

BTW: I'll be adding my vinyl on the captian & mate chairs, in addition to the jump seats just aft of them. Then...I'll be cleaning my canvas early this week as well. I follow-up with more pics.

Alex i had the same boat and listed mine with Yarmouth Boat Yard. They are known for their used Eastern inventory and sold mine very quickly. A guy drove all the way from the Great Lakes and towed it home.

Those Eastern's are a great boat. Nice layout for the angler, very well built, low gunwales, and almost everyone I know who's had one has never gone to another boat. They've gone from the 22, the 24.7, and the 27. Good luck on the sale, it looks great and well kept, those boats hold their value. At that price, it shouldn't last long.

Yarmouth Boat Yard is good, Ipswich Bay Yacht sales does a good job with Eastern's also, and is a little closer (New Hampshire)

Good luck with your sale!

Many thanks for everyone's insight & compilments! I have kept her in insane condition. Not to say there isn't a few scratches here & there. Funny...I thought I had it sold on Saturday morning from a guy in Ontario. I said for him to call me on Sunday to work out the details. Got an e-mail on late Sunday afternoon saying he purchased another boat he had bid on ealier. What tikcs me off is I told a guy living about 75 miles not to come on Sunday because she was sold.

Some people. I may consider giving it to a broker, because I simply don't have the time to mess with everything invloved. I'll keep her for a couple of more months & hopefully she'll sell sooner then later. I'll post a few more pics on here as well.

Many Thanks All!

Phoenix: I called Ipswich Yacht Sales today in Hampton, NH. Much closer to my home then Yarmouth Boat Yard. I may give them my listing. I simply don't have the time to do the "selling" thing when summer comes around. I own the Eastern 24' outright with title in hand. I think they'll do a good job! I'll be keeping my boat for the next 2 weeks if anyone is interested.

smart move....a good broker earns every bit of their commission... so many tire kickers/dreamers out there it will drive you insane. If i had a dollar for every pic and survey request I got via email I wouldnt need to sell my boat.

Phoenix: Geez...You're not kidding! I thought I sold my boat 4 times & everytime something happens. I cannot tell you the amount of insane low-ball offers I have received in the last two months. I said to Ipswich Yacht Sales & told them what the lowest I would accept (net on my end) & he said "Alex....Your boat won't last that long @ all" Fingers crossed! Thanks Phoenix BTW!
