Don’t want to. All my wife and I can do is empower our daughter to be the best independent woman possible. Use examples like the above as what not to do. Other than my wife there are still many positive female role models for her to look to.

Totally all you can do and it will be a hard cloudy road shall we say because of education syst. After early schooling that you have a little input, you get 9 years of Tuffs that will influence more than than all the life's lessons you can show up till then!! My grandfather used to say the Beatles started the downward spiral in this country with their long hair & making drugs the thing to do.
I tell my father & his brother all the time (both in their early 80s)
They grew up in the best decade this country experienced. 1950s.
Post ww2 country was growing.
Cost of goods vs pay was so much better for achieving the American dream.
Doing away with Blue Laws (stores closed on Sunday) started the destruction of the family.
Growing up, every Sunday was family day. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents...... all around the dinner table.
Today we see family at funerals.

kinda agree. Thought the blue laws were silly and inconvenient when I was younger, thought the violence in movies/arcade thing was over exaggerated .... But, I get it now.

And while wealthy men stayed home and made money off of desperate women, working class men died over seas. And instead of doing the right thing and helping to restore the family unit when the war was over, the wealthy continued to capitalize and relished that men now had to compete with their under paid spouses. This destroyed the ability of Average Joe's family to survive on a single income. Then, without a matriarch in the home to watch the kids and take care of the elderly, families were destroyed. Kids suffer the consequences of growing up without parental guidance or the lessons of their elders; and those same elders get to experience the miracle's of modern medicine; as they die a prolonged lonely death in a nursing home while watching the last scraps of their life savings get stripped away to pay for it.

Cardi B is the least of our problems.

To be clear, if you're worried when I say wealthy I'm referring to guys floating around in quarter million dollar downeasters, I'm not. Good for them. If I had been a little smarter and worked a little harder I might have been one of them myself. When I say "wealthy" I mean the guys who can afford to stack up quarter million dollar downeasters like cordwood to pass out as bribes as they rig elections and bend the worlds laws to their favor.

Minimum wage was never meant as a career wage, it’s a starting point, like teenage kids flipping burgers or pouring cups of coffee.
Any adult that’s expecting to live on minimum wage is a fucking idiot that should have done better in school or applied themselves more but instead goes through life blaming those who bust their ass.

Only job I got paid minimum wage was when I was 15 years old during the summer on a framing crew. That lasted 3 months until football season started. When I was 19-20 yrs old in college I worked with a small roofing crew, made $20 an hour in the late ‘90’s. My boss got his money’s worth too. Never showed up late, worked my butt off, didn’t need breaks, had a great attitude, no drinking, no drugs, and a strong work ethic. It’s not real complicated to make significantly above minimum wage if you know how to work.

Around 1970 he made about 3X what a teller made. And loved it. He never busted his ass - he did his job, but by the time he retired he was making 20X the teller scale. That's the frog boiling. Some CEO's went light years beyond that. And never broke a sweat. There seems to be millions and millions of idiots trying to survive these days. Costco, for example, pays all its employees over $15.00/hr. They did it. The world didn't come crashing down. As to the purpose of the minimum wage: The purpose of the minimum wage was to stabilize the post-depression economy and protect the workers in the labor force. The minimum wage was designed to create a minimum standard of living to protect the health and well-being of employees. No kids flipping burgers there. It's merely what you've bought into.
