Curious to see where this thread goes. Wonder what the connections are like on a plastic hose? I would want something if I had to re-arrange something at sea I could do it.

I want to move my valve manifold into the cabin, so its easy to change fuel tanks and also the filters as well. Wonder just go with basic hose and fittings or step it up to a push-lok type system or what.

I did my boat a few years ago and used these fittings Surplus Center
instead of brass barbs.

Premium AWAB? hose clamps.

Stainless steel "cushon clamps" and CG approved A1-15 (or was it A2-15) hose.

Replaced all the old copper tubing, fittings, and valves. Eliminated a lot of connections, elbows, and leaks. You will never regret getting the good stuff for this critical system.
