The 2010c is a great unit. Operates just like the 3xxx and 4xxx series. Great as a chartplotter. Not so good as a sounder. Can integrate weather if so desired.

I have a 2010c and use it all the time. Friends are constantly trying to buy it from me.

If you can get a 2010 for $700 or less, I'd jump on it.

Great chartplotter, along with the 2200 and 3200 series the pinnacle of Garmin's MFDs. When they redesigned the system interface for the 4000 series the eliminated many of the buttons and made it a much more menu-submenu interface. Very clunky to navigate through, even to plot a route. Like GoodChance said above, people who have had these units are still trying to buy them for their new boats. If the price is right, take it.

I have a 2010C , 2006C & a 182
They are all new in 2003 and I would really be bummed if I had to replace them as chart plotters. Love the 2010 & 2006. The 182 I had from a previous boat and is just redundant I only turn it on for the numbers screen (speed, time of day ect...)
The sounder is nothing to write home about.
