gel coat repair

i had a few cracks repaired. he ground it out glassed it then filler and gel. he brushed the gel on so now i have brush marks. so now what? was he just tired and wanted to go home??

that too. depends on how strong the brush strokes are. ive taken them out with just a buffer and compound, but they weren't strong

he said he could sand it with 800 grit but might burn thru it. so it would be better to leave it alone. like i said i think he just wanted to go home

Well if you're worried about it burning through as well, that is what I had meant. Is it in a highly visible location? You could always abrade the location and lay on more product then level everything down so it's not as noticeable.
