General marine 22

Is the general marine 22 a stretched Mitchell cove/northern bay 20?
Both Calvin beal I think.
How much of a keel on these boats?
Some of these outboard de boats have a very small strip of a keel, while others , such as sisu have a more substantial keel

Shit my hull's the exact same way. A three inch keel that tapers off about four feet from the transom....

According to Stacey himself the gm22 is original hull designed by calvin beal with input from Stacey.

is there a clear advantage to a smaller keel vs a larger keel on these outboard models? I have observed the smaller keels on easterns for example,then looked at my sisu , which has a larger keel.

This is an interesting topic. I'm thinking about adding more keel to my 20'
Eastporter. It is currently 2" and tappers off toward transom. Do people think it will track better with more keel? What size? Does anyone have a Mitchell Cove 20' who can report keel size and tracking? Keel walk issues?

I've got about a three inch keel myself but it tapers off and goes flat at the transom about five/six feet from the stern...I do not think that my keel even touches the water at plane....but in slow speeds she tracks true
