Im thinking cut that price in half. you see 28 downeast boats that have never been worked for 50-60 range

I've seen this boat up close and it is a very fine example of the GM26'. The amount of glass fabrication on this boat is high with a great finish. I don't know what a GM26 would cost out to build today but my guess it would be worth it for someone to pay 60-80% of the new cost since this boat is perfect.

When compared to new I think this is a good deal, but as a used boat, who can say. A good friend is a marine surveyor and he said to me the other day that pricing boats these days has become quite tricky.

Like mentioned above, many many very nice boats have been sitting for sale for a loooong time, and they are priced well. Boats that would have sold five years ago at 25% more than they are listed for now.

She is a beauty tho!

I love looking at other General Marine's and has given me many idea's for it. This is definitely up there in regards to the ones I have seen.

Is it me or dont you think they should have cleaned up the cabin first!

I do like the color scheme.

FWIW, I'm 90% sure that the owner put over $300,000 into this boat. The only thing he used it for was chugging up and down the river. He is into the CG auxiliary. Boat was built and maintained by Rumery's boat yard.

If that's true, I'm at a loss for words. Wait, here's two, 35 Duffy.
