Giants off atlantic beach

i was blackfishing today on atlantic beach reef ....there were fish boiling on schools of herring and mac's...just nice to see that close to the beach

30ft of water nailing pogies... Seasons still open. only about 25tons left though.

The season is open through march now but there is only the 20mt or so to work with. After the way the last week went it might now be open for much longer.

Tuna,thanks for the info...i have not bin thinking about anything but blackfish....but the mackeral were thick today...i hung a sabiki rig on a dead stick and it kept getting loaded up...i guess i should put a big rod back on the boat lol

When that balloon out the back goes off you won't be thinking about anything but tuna in January. Do you see them from time to time in the winter or was this a pretty rare occurrence?
