PEI/Northumberland straights. Finished off by Dana Hunter. I believe the present owner bought it only about a year and a half ago. I don't know what he paid, but the asking price was below 80k IIRC. Funky interior. Former owner cruised/lived on it for extended times.
Dana hunter boats is/was based out of tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.
North shore, Northumberland straight boat.
Right down the way from my wife's family cottage.
Provided he built the hull, you are correct bosman, a novi indeed!
As long as it's from the maritimes and follows the cape island or Northumberland style, I call it a novi. They all follow the same lines. Otherwise it's splitting hairs. A hull built in pei could have been helped designed by a fella from New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia.
Bruno's and sisus were built in nh, but designed by a mainer. Still undoubtedly a downeast.
Donelles are built in New Brunswick, but are still a novi to me.
